Arashi: Oh? If it isn’t Souma-chan and Kiryuu-senpai. What a coincidence to see you two here, what are you doing?

Souma: Ah, it’s Narukami-dono. Whoops... “Hana”, what are you stretching your paw out for? Are you interested in Narukami-dono?

Arashi: Oh myyy, how cute! Theeere, there, Onee-chan is going to give you big hug...♪

Souma: Hmm… Narukami-dono, do you like cats?

Arashi: I don’t just like them, I love them...♪

I keep a cat at home, so I have a weakness for them. Are you raising this Neko-chan?

Souma: No, it’s just a cat I picked up after it wandered onto campus. It has a name, though, so I think it’s probably someone’s pet.

Arashi: Hmm… By the way, what is its name?

Souma: It’s “Hana”. Narukami-dono, do you have any acquaintances who keep cats who mentioned one of theirs escaping?

Arashi: Hm~m… I’m sad to say that I haven’t heard of anyone like that… Oh?

Can you let me take a closer look at this collar? I think I’ve seen this logo somewhere before…

Maybe this is a Neko-chan from that place?

Souma: That place…? Narukami-dono, do you happen to know where this cat is from?

Arashi: Yup. Souma-chan mistook it for the cat’s name, but what’s printed on this collar is actually the name of a cat café called “Hana”.

Souma: Hm, so it’s the name of a establishment. I thought it was strange for a tomboy to be called “Hana”... But I can accept it being the name of a café.

Arashi: Ufufu, since nothing but “Hana” is written on it, there’s no helping that you got it wrong. I’m a regular at that place, so I could tell right away, though.

Souma-chan, you found this cat on the school grounds, right?

That means he probably escaped from the café and got himself lost. Should I call them and ask?

Souma: Yes. I’m sorry for causing you trouble, but it’d be a great help.

Arashi: My, there’s no need to lower your head. We should help each other out when we’re troubled ♪

Souma-chan, can I leave this Neko-chan to you?

Souma: Got it. Come, “Hana”, I’ll hold you tight... ♪

Arashi: Oh myyy, he’s already totally gotten attached to you, hasn’t he? He’s purring like he’s feeling really good ♪

You seem used to it, but it’s not like you keep a cat at home, right?

Souma: Right. Aah, it’s not a cat, but… I look after Kamegorou, who we raise at the Marine Bio Club.

Cats are cute, but so are turtles. The times when I care for my sword and when I look after Kamegorou are moments of ultimate bliss for me ♪

Arashi: I totally get that. I also get sooo happy when I play with Nyanko at home…

Even if the pets we raise are different, the feelings of the owners are one and the same ♪

Ju~st kidding. Here I got chatting again… I should call the café. Wait just a second ♪

Souma: I can’t thank you enough. I’ll leave it to you.

I thought finding your owner would take a while, but here we got some good news from an unexpected place. There, there, aren’t you glad...♪

Kuro: Haha. In such a short time, you’ve totally become a softie for this guy.

Souma: Yes, I would like to just keep petting him forever. Kiryuu-dono, would you like to pet him as well?

Kuro: Nah, I’ll hafta decline. But I wonder how that guy ended up in a place like this.

Souma: Maybe after escaping from the café, he wanted to go home but lost his way and wandered around aimlessly.

Kuro: Aah. That reminds me, when I was a brat there was also a time when I took the train for a joyride and got myself lost.

When I finally got back home, I got scolded real hard. Even now, I still sometimes have dreams about that time.

Souma: So Kiryuu-dono also had a time in his life where he was like that. To me, Kiryuu-dono is always reliable and respectable, so it’s just the tiniest bit surprising.

Kuro: Haha. I used to be a shitty brat who did nothing but cause trouble to everyone around him, though.

Arashi: Kiryuu-senpai, Souma-chan, thanks for waiting~!

Souma: Ooh, Narukami-dono! You’re back so soon. How did it go?

Arashi: It’s a bingo. There’s no mistake about it, this Neko-chan belongs to that café ♪

I know where the café is, so I’ll be bringing him home, okay ♪

Souma: I see, that’s good! “Hana”, you can finally return to your owner!
