Ritsu: ‘Sup~♪

Alrighty, I’ve made it to school on time again today. If I keep this up I’ll be able to finish this school year without repeating a grade again, and I can graduate with Maa~kun...♪

Koga: I mean. It’s not like your house is all that far, so if anythin’ it’d be weird for you to be late in the first place.

Classes and tests ain’t that hard here either, so normally no one’d have to repeat a year.

Ritsu: Wow, spoken like a true honor student. It’s exactly that “doing it normally” thing that we struggle with, the structure of human society isn’t easy on vampires.

Anija’s moved into a dormitory this spring. He told me that leaving “that building” for work while the sun is still up is too tiring, so unless the sky is clouded over from rain or something he doesn’t go out until dusk.

Koga: Aah, I heard from Hakaze-senpai that he’s annoyed to death from havin’ to take care of that guy.

“Unless it rains, he takes the day off”, who does he think he is, King Kamehameha?*

Ritsu: Doesn’t that song go “If it rains, they take the day off”?

Koga: I don’t give a shit, and either way, the point I’m tryna make here is that people should take their work seriously no matter what the weather or their health is like.

'Cause you had to repeat a year before, you’re the oldest student among us now, yeah?

Get it together, act your age and show off your cool side, “Sakuma-senpai”.

Just earlier you said “climbing staircases is a pain” and in the end, you made me carry you here--

Aah shit, now I’m already all spent even though it’s still early in the morning, dammit!

You may already be at your limit, but I still think you oughtta work harder, since it ain’t like there’s a stage you’ve gotta save your strength for anyway

Ritsu: Eh~? Sure, Knights've been getting a flood of new members lately, and thanks to that we've been pretty much dead in the water...

So we’ve been remarkably out of touch with the stage, huh?

And since I don’t have to put any work in, it’s been easy-peasy… Just the way I like it, really.

But for what it’s worth I’m still an idol, and it seems that when I don’t get to sing and dance, the stress starts to accumulate.

Thanks to that, I haven’t been sleeping well lately. Ya~wn ♪

Arashi: Hey! There you finally are, Ritsu-chan! Just what kind of mess have you gotten yourself into here, really!?

Ritsu: Huh? Good morning~, Nacchan… What’s wrong, why are you so uncharacteristically upset this early in the morning?

Arashi: Of course I’d be upset! Geez, I really let down my guard… Was that reliable behavior during Requiem just a hallucination I saw!?

Koga: Oioi. I don’t really get what’s goin’ on, but don’t get so worked up, it’s irritatin’. This ain’t like you, “Arii”.

Arashi: Oh my? Could it be that “Arii” is referring to me, Koga-chan?

Koga: Hmph. It was just annoyin’ me how you were always makin’ a face like I hurt your feelings whenever I called ya “Okama Bastard”.

I don’t wanna hafta worry about that all the time, so simply changin’ what I call you is easier on me.

Arashi: My oh my, ufufu ♪ How kind of you, Subaru-chan’s the same… At some point he also changed the way he calls me, you see?

Ritsu: Hey, Nacchan… I get that you’re happy about this, but don’t suddenly change the topic after calling out to me.

What was that all about, did I do something?

Arashi: Ah, yes. You’re right, I apologize. Hm~... But I’m getting the impression that you don’t know anything about this, Ritsu-chan?

And here I thought you accepted a job without asking for permission from us or something.

Knights may have the official stance of valuing individualism, but since our newcomers have been increasing lately we can’t have you act as you like.

I thought “if Ritsu-chan has gone rogue, I’ll have to scold him,” and rolled up my sleeves already.

Ritsu: Hmm? What’s this about, I don’t get it… What do you mean by “job”, you should know that I of all people wouldn’t take on work of my own volition.

If anything, I’m the type of person who doesn’t do any work at all whenever possible~♪

Arashi: That’s true… In that case, I guess those news were nothing but gossip.

I shouldn’t let myself be manipulated like that… Maybe I should ask Makoto-chan to teach me how to use the internet better?

Ritsu: Umm. Does that mean you saw some strange news related to me on the internet?

Can’t imagine what it was about, though… For what it’s worth, I’ve been comparatively well-behaved lately?

Maybe someone wrote a hoax article like last year during Halloween?** This must be what they call the price of fame, you know, since Knights has been on the rise for a while?

My Anija’s had plenty of half-truths circulating about him too, and he’s gotten pretty “fed up” with it.

Arashi: Exactly, it’s related to that Onii-san of yours…

It appears that it was just a false alarm, but for some reason the rumor that “the Sakuma brothers, who have been all the rage lately, are performing in a large-scale live” has been making the rounds on the internet--

They already started selling tickets for it, and from the looks of it a lot of money and personnel are involved…

I wonder what it’s all about, is it really nothing but a baseless rumor on the internet?

------------

*I don’t even know where to start with this whole interaction. First of all, they’re talking about a childrens’ song named “南の島のハメハメハ大王” (The Great King Hamehameha of the Southern Island). Have a listen. Now, Koga (or Akira) made a mistake and called him “Kamehameha” instead, as if this is Dragon Ball or something… And on top of that, the lyrics “If it rains, they take the day off” refer to Hamehameha’s children, not the king himself (the children are also called Hamehameha, though).
